Barack Wins Guam: Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton by seven votes in the Guam Democratic Caucuses held over the weekend.

It was not immediately made clear how the tiny U.S. Pacific island’s four delegates would be divided between the two candidates.

Obama holds a lead of approximately 130 delegates heading in to Tuesday’s Indiana and North Carolina primaries.

A new nationwide poll shows Clinton leading Obama by seven percent. The poll marks the first time that Clinton has been ahead in three months.

Silver Hawks Begin Homestand The Silver Hawks (9-19) felt at home in the friendly confines of Coveleski Stadium taking two of three from the Peoria Chiefs over the weekend.

South Bend has won five of its last six home games.

The Hawks won 8-5 Friday, lost 4-3 Saturday, and won 2-0 Sunday behind the 4-hit pitching of Jarrod Parker (2-1) and the flawless pitching of Thomas Layne and Evan Scribner (second save).

The Cove will have the distinction of hosting Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Lumberkings in the same one-month time span. The .latter come to South Bend today to begin a three-game series. Game time is 6:30 p.m.

Eight Belles’ Tragedy Overshadows Big Brown’s Derby Win: Favorite Big Brown’s overwhelming victory in the Kentucky Derby was marred by the fate of runnerup Eight Belles, who lost her life after finishing second.

Big Brown pulled away to win by five lengths to continue his dominance and make him a strong candidate to be the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years.

Eight Belles, the only filly in the race, broke her front ankles and had to be euthanized immediately.

Big Brown’s quest for the Triple Crown will continue May 17 in the Preakness at Pimlico Race Track in Maryland.

Bowyer Wins at Richmond: Clint Bowyer took advantage of Denny Hamlin’s misfortune and a late accident between Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Kyle Busch to pick up his second Cup win Saturday.

Hamlin led a record 381 of 410 laps, but blew a tire and wound up 24^th.

Busch did take over the Sprint Cup points lead with his second place finish.
