Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival: The College Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival will be July 18 and 19 with Joe Paterno, Doug Flutie, Chris Zorich, and the entire class of 2008.

Events will include the Enshrinement Grand Parade in downtown South Bend starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and the FanFest--featuring the Hall of Famer Flag Football Game-- Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Silver Hawks Take to Road: The Hawks (15-10) were idle last night. They travel to Wisconsin tonight to begin a 3-game series with the Timber Rattlers. Starting time for all three games is 8:05 p.m.

MLB All-Star Game; AL 4, NL 3 (15): Justin Morneau scored the winning run in the 15th inning on a sacrifice fly by Michael Young as the AL won for the 12th straight time.

It was the final All-Star game in New York's "House That Ruth Built" which will be replaced by a new ballpark next season.

Boston's J.D. Drew was named the MVP; Drew hit a game-tying 2-run homer in the seventh inning.

Geovany Soto and Kosuke Fudodome went hitless in two at-bats. Carlos Zambrano pitched two innings, giving up one hit and striking out one. Ryan Dempster struck out three batters in one inning of work.

Indy Attorney to be ND AD: Notre Dame has scheduled a 12:30 p.m. news conference today to announce the hiring of Indianapolis attorney Jack Swarbrick as the school's new athletic director.

Swarbrick, 54, is a 1976 ND graduate. He was president of Indiana Sports Corporation from 1992-2001; during that time the NCAA offices were moved from Kansas City to Indy.
